Folklor û Ziman is an international refereed and academic journal published twice a year under the auspices of Mesopotamia Foundation. The journal includes academic studies on folklore and Kurdish language.
In the context of Kurdish folklore, the topics such as folklore theories, folk literature, customs and traditions, beliefs and folk sciences, local dictionaries, Kurdish folklore concepts, field studies, as well as studies and articles on Kurdish ethnography, etc. are published. Within the framework of linguistic activities, all kinds of topics related to phonology, morphology, syntax, morphosentax, social linguistics, Iranian linguistics, etc. take place. This second issue includes nine scientific articles on Kurdish folklore and language.
The third issue of Folklor û Ziman includes articles on folklore and the Kurdish language, book reviews, analysis and transcription.
