After nearly a year of study and preparation, the "Folklora Me" Journal has been published by Mesopotamia Foundation Folklore Group. In the pages of "Folklora Me" there are studies and researches on Kurdish folklore. "Folklora Me" tries to include all subjects of folklore. It tries to compile and analyze the materials of topics such as music, oral literature, eating and drinking habits clothing, customs and ritual.
This issue includes "The four jokes of Piran village", "A few notes about the compilation of Kurdish Folk Literature", "The morphology of the Bengin story", "The story and song of Seydiko", "Proverbs about dogs", "Names of Silopi villages" and other articles.
Eşref Keydanî is the editor of the journal, the editorial board consists of six people. The author, researcher and historian Prof. Dr. Celîlê Celîl is also on the editorial board. Folklora Me will be published every three months.
