"Xeberdana Zimanê Kurmacî ye" is a significant and historical work written by Mele Mahmûdê Bazîdî in 1865 with the aim of promoting the Kurmanji-Kurdish language. This work by Bazîdî, which is included in the collection of Alexandre Jaba's works, is entirely in the form of dialogues and involves questions and answers. Although this dialogue serves the purpose of language preservation, it also contains valuable and remarkable information relevant to our present day, such as Kurdish folklore, political events, daily life, linguistic peculiarities, and so on.
This text is included in the collection "KURD 50" in A. Jaba's archive. In addition to this text, the "KURD 50" dossier contains translations of this text into Russian and French, which were done by A. Jaba. Both translations, whether in Russian or in French, cover approximately half of the original text. Both the content of the work and its typographical guidelines have been examined. However, in this specific work prepared by Mikail Bülbül and Mustafa Öztürk, only the original text by Bazîdî has been focused on. At the end of this work, a copy of the original work in Arabic script has also been provided.
