Sêxiştîyên Kurmancî Xorasan
Şêxistî is a type of poetry that takes place in Kurdish folklore, is very common and popular in the whole of Kurdistan and in the diaspora. Although they are different from each other, heyranok, dilok and dûrik styles are also included in the şêxistî genre. Celîlê Celîl and Gulî Şadkam toured Xorasan villages, tent by tent in 2011, and compiled these şêxistîs. There are 1071 şêxistîs from the Xorasan region in this work. The Şêxistîs consist of three lines and contain different subjects. They have a certain rhythm. The first two lines of the Şêxistîs are very connected to each other, both lines are linked in the memory of the person who sings them. The third verse is free as a tradition in Kurdistan, this verse gathers the theme that is meant to be said.
