Şêxê Senʻanîyan's poem is a gem for Kurdish literature. It was written by Feqiyê Teyran, one of the classical Kurdish literature poets of the XVI century. This important work deals with the love of Şêxê Senʻanîyan, who is a sad person. With great resistance, Şêx proves the sanctity of his love, even if it is difficult, with this love he steals the heart of the Christian girl and achieves his wish. This work is so impressive that a poet named “Xemgîn” decorates this poem with nazire art and doubles it, and the lines of the stanzas increase to 701.
