This book compilation consists of 10 Kurdish fairy tales. These fairy tales are takes in the 70s and it has been recorded among the Caucasian Kurds. They are broadcast in the North for the first time. The names of some of the tales; Three-Legged Apple, English, Sergeant, Forty Braid and The Disciple of the Highlands. Most of those who told the tales have passed away, but the style of saying in their language has always continued. “They brought a handsome, quick-handed young man and put him on horseback, and released him into a long square, with a river in front of him. His horse purred; it was the heat of summer. He put the horse in such a state like a bullet and it came like lightning, not yet halfway across the river, stopped in the middle and the cavalryman threw himself into the water…”
