Otobîyografîya Ebdurezaq Bedirxanî / Ebdurezaq Bedirxan's Autobiography

In this book, Ebdurezaq Bedirxan describes the struggle and resistance before the First World War. Celîlê Celîl found this book from the Russian archives and translated it into the Kurmanji dialect of Kurdish. The book not only sheds light on the life of Ebdurezaq Bedirxan, but also tells us about the events that took place in Kurdistan in those years, especially Serhad. “Since the day I established relations with Russian civil and military officials, I have never kept my voice or my word. My work with Russia is for the development and progress of my nation. My main demand is to establish a free Kurdistan under Russian rule because Russia is the most developed state among our neighbors. Russian culture can adapt to us much more easily than others. In order to realize this project, first of all, we need to get rid of the yoke of the Turks. This is in the common interest of us and Russia.”
