Ji Binbîra Kurdan Bawerîyên Gelêrî / A Piece of Traditional Folk Beliefs of the Kurds
Traditional beliefs take their roots from ancient times, and the influence of pagan belief is clearly visible in many of them. These beliefs have sometimes been a shelter against the dangers of the world, sometimes they have protected us from accidents and troubles, and sometimes they have been a cure for troubles. Traditional folk beliefs have brought societies closer together and have contributed to people's lifestyles. These beliefs have often been a part of social education. This book contains the traditional beliefs of the Serhad region. Most of these traditional beliefs were compiled from Ağrı and Iğdır regions and classified according to their subjects.
