Zilfîye Xanim

This book book consists of 11 tales which were compiled from Karacadağ region. Hefhinarê, Goşto, Abûzêdê Binîhilalyan and Zilfîye Xanim are some of the tales in this book. The narrator Meta Şemsê is an old sage who is well known in the region. Mehpûs Serhedî sat at the foot of Meta Şemsê for 4-5 years and compiled many works from her mouth. The beauty of her narrative style and the colorful content of her tales take people to the fairy tale world. “Pasha’s enemy's servants come and say to him again: "Our Pasha said either xûkti or girl or war?” Thereupon, those two riders immediately jumped up and said: "More is more, less is less; war, war!” The servants go and explain the matter to the pasha. Pasha also says: Is that so? And they say, "I swear it's true."
