This book in your hands is the product of fieldwork done 36 years ago in a confined space. Celîlê Celîl went to the Afrîn and Qamishlo regions in 1982 and stayed there for 3 months. He was in the divan of the Dengbêjs, compiled their songs, and listened to their stories and experiences. Celîl traveled a lot in the region and compiled riddles and nursery rhymes. This book consists of two parts; In the first part, there are epics, couplets, and experiences, in the second part there are songs, riddles and nursery rhymes.
